Friday’s book launch at Tsunami Book was a success. About 25 people attended, which was a great turnout. Chelan Ferguson made a wonderful carrot cake, and we had other snacks and drinks. I read a short passage from the book. People asked really interesting questions, and I sold quite a few books. We videotaped a lot of it I only edited one short part of an answer to a good question someone asked, which was: what social change did I want to come from the book? The entire answer is not on the clip I made for TikTok. It included awareness of the disparities in the quality of life on Lakota reservations, ideas for environmental solutions like hemp, and alternatives for fossil fuels.
